Beginning in Kindergarten, we dedicate our time to high quality instruction and 21st century foundational skills that will give students an advantage in the future. Here’s how we do it: 

• 60 minutes of success time personalized to individual areas of improvement
• 15:1 student to teacher ratio

Strong Character

Our K-6 school enjoys the benefit of a positive culture built on strong relationships and Core Values. These relationships are the foundation of our character development program that is centered on the Six Pillars of Character: Trust, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. 

Our Core Values are our moral compass and represent the foundation for everything we do at Indy STEAM Academy. Our teachers incorporate lessons on character development into their daily teaching and our values are woven throughout all of our school rules and routines. 

Our K-6 school has fewer discipline and behavior problems than traditional schools thanks to our small, community culture. Fewer behavior issues means less time pulled away from academics. Higher grades and greater involvement in extracurriculars like sports and performing arts, are a pretty great benefit, too.
