Making summer plans for your child? Look no further than Indy STEAM Academy. We are proud to be providing high quality, tuition-free summer school to all new and returning K-6 students. That’s right–the 2022-23 school year is kicking off in June!

This year’s Summer School session will be held June 13 to July 1, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are excited to welcome all Kindergarten through 6th grade students, whether you attended Indy STEAM this year or you just enrolled for the 2022-23 school year.

There is no cost to attend Summer School at Indy STEAM. We believe the opportunity to work on academic skills from highly qualified teachers during the summer months should be accessible to all students. It’s one way we are closing the achievement gap in our community. 

The summer school registration deadline is Tuesday, May 31. Breakfast and lunch are included daily at no extra cost. 

Build Skills & Confidence 

With the guidance of our highly qualified teachers, students will work in small group settings to strengthen reading, writing and math skills. The slower paced nature of summer school provides more one-on-one opportunities for students to sharpen their academic skills. 

Students who attend summer school can build academic confidence in a shorter school day, when they are ready and attention spans are strong. 

Even if your child’s skills are at or above grade level, Indy STEAM Academy Summer School is still a great option to keep your child’s academic skills fresh and in a safe environment. We will work with students on a needs-basis, making sure individuals receive the support they need.

Build Friendships & Community

Summer School at Indy STEAM provides a unique advantage to incoming students: the chance to get to know the building, teachers and classmates before the official start of the school year. We’ll help you reduce first-day jitters! 

Indy STEAM Summer School is about much more than just academics. We take breaks to chat, play outside on our gorgeous enclosed playground, and have fun! Your child will enjoy creating new friendships with peers and trusted relationships with new teachers.
